Check-In
Reception is available around the clock and you can check in into your room from 03.00 p.m.
Check-In before 03.00 p.m. is possible on request and subject to availability. Please note, that this is a non-binding request and is not guaranteed.
Check-Out
It would be grateful if you could check out by 11 a.m. on the day of departure and leave your Key Card at reception.
Additionally we offer a late check-out until 04.00 pm for an extra charge of 25,00 € (subject to availability).
City Tax Karlsruhe
From July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, a flat rate of € 3,50 per guest and per overnight stay will be collected from guests and paid to the city of Karlsruhe. For 2026 an 2027, a rate of € 4 is planned, and from 2028, € 4,50 per guest per overnight stay is planned. Children an young people up to the age fo 18 ar exempt from this fee.
Late Check-Out
We can offer a late check-out - subject to availability - up to a maximum of 04.00 p.m. for a surcharge of 60,00 €. Please contact our rezeption.
Early bird prices (Hot Deal)
Our early bird rate with a discount of 10.00 € reduction is not possible to change and can not be canceled. The advanced booking period is 7 days prior to arrival. After we got the booking we charge your credit card with the total amount of the booked services.
Arrival before 06.00 p.m.
We would like to inform you that your Standard reservation (arrival until 06.00 p.m.) will go back to free sale after 06.00 p.m. at the arrival day and can only be offered on new request and subject to availability.
Arrival after 06.00 p.m.
Would you like to guarantee you room availability for an arrival after 06.00 p.m., we recommend you to guarantee your reservation with your credit card details. With the providing of your credit card details your room is available for an arrival after 06.00 p.m.
Parking
There are 30 public parking spaces available in front of the Schlosshotel Karlsruhe. Please note that it is not possible to reserve a parking space.More information about parking can be found here.
Bicycles Parking
Within the building we do not have any room to store your bikes. You are welcome to park your bicycle in front of the building on our car park. As alternative we want to point out the bike station at main train station, at the other side of the street. Further information can be found here.
Internet / WiFi
There is a free highspeed-intenet via WiFi available in the entire hotel.
Breakfast times
Our American Breakfastbuffet is available on Monday - Friday from 06.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holiday-days from 07:30 till 11.00 a.m.
Requests to the hotel when making a reservation
We always try to fulfill every guest wish. Please understand that these are not bindingly. These wishes can not be guaranteed from us. An implementation can therefore not always be guaranteed. For questions about your reservation please do not hesitate to contact us.
Cancellation
Individual reservations can be canceled until 06.00 p.m. at the arrival day.
A cancellation or reduction of the rooms must be in written form.
Sauna / Fitness Area
The sauna is available from 05pm to 10pm. We charge a small amount per person and stay.
The fitness area is from 07am to 10pm available.
Room Cleaning & Towel Exchange
For the sake of the environment and sustainability, we clean the rooms every three days for longer stays. In the meantime, you´ll find plenty of fresh towels in the closet. If you would like an earlier cleaning or bed linen change, please contact us before 11 a.m. or alternativly, hang the "Please tidy the room"-sign on your room door before 11 a.m. Please place towels you would like us to exchange on the floor.
Extra Bed
Children between the ages of 0 and 12 years stay free of charge when sharing the parents bed
Children up to 12 receive an extra bed on request and subject to availability at the rate of 30 € per child and night
Children 13 years and older receive an extra bed on request and subject to availability at the rate of 40 € per person and night
Pets
The fee for a pet (for example dog, cat) is 15 € per day.
